Access to BBS Point-of-Sale (POS):
Ventelo Wholesale offers three different services for access toBBS Point-of-Sale (POS):
Traffic from BBS VPN is fed directly into the customer's VPN as a form of extranet. This solution provides access to BBS POS services via the customer's ordinary VPN. The service is designed for IP VPN accesses that only support a VPN at the customer location.
This service provides access to BBS from user locations for one or more payment terminals (POS). BBS will be accessible in a dedicated VPN assigned to payment terminal traffic with QoS/Traffic Class Business. At the customer location, the IP VPN access must support more than one VPN.
This service is designed for Service Providers/Partners who wish to sell on access to BBS via their own accesses. BBS Transit is set up by Ventelo Wholesale as with a dedicated VPN with the partner. This requires that the partner uses its own official IP addresses and the third party is free to use unofficial networks within its network, provided that requirements for official source and destination addresses only are complied with. The third party is free to resolve security requirements in the manner it sees as most appropriate, provided the overall requirements of BBS are complied with.
